In 2012, KOREnergy ran a Request for Proposal, on behalf of the Association, to six (6) electric suppliers operating in the Ohio/PJM Market.  The goal was for The Printing Industries of Ohio • N.Kentucky to partner with a supplier for the benefit of its Members. Using the power of the Association, Constellation is able to provide lower rates than individual companies could attain elsewhere.

Some of the criteria used to pick a partner included:
    •    Price per kWh
    •    All rates are fixed and cannot include pass through charges
    •    Types of Products and Customer Services offered by the supplier
    •    Was the supplier also affiliated with a generating company?
    •    Was the supplier investment grade rated?
    •    The suppliers contractual Terms and Conditions

Ultimately, Constellation was the electric supplier chosen by Printing Industries of Ohio • N.Kentucky as it’s exclusively supplier to it’s Members.

we work with several industries including: the printing industry, hospitals, school districts, manufacturers, correctional facilities and more.

How does a Member request a price?

The Member should complete the Agent Authority Form (“link to form”), attach a copy of a current electric utility bill for each account and email or send to Jim Cunningham.

KOREnergy will submit this information to our electric supply partner, Constellation NewEnergy.  It will generally take 5-7 business days for us to have prices back to you.  Please note that if you are under an existing supply contract, we will need to know the end date of the term.
